The case for the college bookstore, an opinion piece from a student

In an opinion piece, Brown University student reporter Ameer Malik wrote about the benefit of having textbooks available at a campus bookstore. He notes that he enjoys discovering new books, likes the ability to thumb through the books ahead of enrolling in a class, and appreciates the customer service behind the buying and selling of books.

About the notion of discovery, he states “Campus bookstores are wonderful places to stumble upon something amazing.” We think so too. There’s a great selection of print and digital course materials available at college bookstores available at most schools.
